Fitz – Adopted

Hi friends!! My name is Fitz and I’m about 5 years old. I somehow got lost and a few months ago I found myself in a local shelter. A nice lady got me out of that place and brought me to GRRCC. They took me to the vet to make sure I was healthy and I found out I had heartworms! Thank goodness the treatment went very well and now I’m a lean and fit healthy boy! My foster home is wonderful! I didn’t have very good manners when I first arrived, but my foster family has been working on learning basic commands and displaying proper indoor manners.  I have 3 Golden siblings to play with, a couch to sleep on if I want to, and lots of attention and snuggles. My foster mom and dad love me to pieces (and I love them too!), but I think I’m finally ready to find my forever home. I would love to have my own family and I’m ready to wag my tail incessantly and to please them!

There are some requirements, a fenced yard, and someone home the majority of the day.  Fitz is neutered, gets along great with other dogs, and loves, loves loves his people! He would also be fine as an only dog. He’s good with kids, but would be best with ages over 12. He is housebroken and crate trained (though it’s not necessary for him).
