Elsa is a very petite little girl who looks to be a Golden Retriever mix. She was pulled from a local shelter as she is Heartworm Positive. Her owner dropped her off at Animal Control because they were moving. Elsa is incredibly sweet and loving life in her foster home!!
Elsa had a rough start with Kennel Cough from being at the shelter L Next, she started on her pre-treatment for Heartworm and she got sick from the meds AND she went into heat! She has since been spayed and has healed up nicely. Heartworm treatments starts at the end of March so Elsa will be looking for her forever home in early May.
Elsa is resting comfortably in her foster home with adults, kids and dogs. Her loving foster family has nothing but great things to say about Elsa who may, or may not be a golden. Either way she has the sweet temperament of a Golden and is also the perfect pint-size. Her foster mom reports that she has no bad habits and has never had an accident in the house. Our vets agree that Elsa is the sweetest, sweetie. No one is sure what she is mixed, with but everyone agrees she is a great dog. She has fallen in love with her brother Jack Russell and loves her humans.
