A Day of Golf for the Goldens!
44 golfers enjoyed the day at our 16th annual tournament now renamed The Gene Fitzpatrick Memorial GRRCC Charity Golf Tournament. The event was hosted by Carolina Lakes (Sun City Golf Club) in Indian Land, SC on Saturday, June 9th and included lunch and dinner catered by Jocks and Jills Sports Grill. Furry “Golden Ambassadors” greeted players in the clubhouse and encouraged them around the course! The day ended with awards, an auction and a hole in one celebration!!
Thanks to the generosity of many sponsors, donors and golfers we’re happy to announce that the profits from the tournament totaled $8,070 this year! These funds will go a long way to continue our mission to rescue, heal and find forever homes for unwanted, abused, neglected, or abandoned Golden Retrievers.
