The fickle Spring weather couldn’t have cooperated any better for an amazing day full of sunshine and warmth for our rescue to participate in the annual uptown Charlotte St Patrick’s Day parade. Once again, the Golden Retriever Rescue Club of Charlotte (GRRCC) brought smiles to the faces of the many revelers that lined Tryon Street and beyond. Many thanks to those who joined the GRRCC in this enjoyable annual tradition and promoting GRRCC’s mission. It was heartwarming to see many of GRRCC ‘s most active volunteers and it was wonderful to meet some newcomers and recent adopters. Just about all of the group of 20 something Golden Retrievers (and their people) were, of course, sporting St. Patrick’s Day inspired fashion and other accessories bringing smiles and waves from the parade spectators. We hope to see even more goldens and their people next year!
