3/12 UPDATE: CANCELED! We have just learned that due to the coronavirus the St Patrick’s Day parade and Festival has been CANCELED!! The City of Charlotte is planning to reschedule it later this year, though that will all depend on the containment of the virus. Thank you everyone for supporting GRRCC and please be safe out there!

Everyone is Invited!
GRRCC also has some St Patrick’s Day shirts in our Store. If you order today or tomorrow we’ll put them in the mail immediately. OR you can just select the “Pick up at the Parade” option, as we’ll be bringing them all to the parade and selling any that are not spoken for.
No need to register! Just come wearing green with your Golden Retreiver, or with your love of Golden Retriever’s! GRRCC will again march in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in uptown Charlotte on Saturday, March 14, 2020. The parade begins at 11 am. GRRCC’s start time is dependent on our parade position, so since we’re #16 this year, we’ll start soon after 11 am. We will travel south on Tryon to 3rd Street, then travel east for several blocks, then walk back at our leisure to wherever we are parked. The route is approximately one and a quarter mile.
Parking is available at the County Hall Marshall building just across from our meeting area. If that lot is filled, there are other lots closer to 10th or 11th Street and there is some “on street” parking nearby.
We look forward to a fun event. If you have any questions you can email us at info@grrcc.com.
Once again, we’ll have our float for some of our senior Golden’s, and perhaps a few humans in their golden years, that are unable to make the walk on their own. Some spots are reserved ahead of time and after that it’s on a first come first served basis. It only holds about 8-10 people and a few dogs that can’t do the walk. So if you have any special needs, please ask to see the float coordinator during our social time before the parade.
