After a couple of decades as a technical illustrator with IBM, Randy continued working in graphic fields as an architectural draftsman and a website designer. He, and his wife Shellie, caught the Golden bug when they dog sat a friend’s Golden indefinitely, while they were dealing with a family emergency. Since then, they’ve had two more Golden’s, both rescued through GRRCC. They’ve been actively volunteering with GRRCC for several years as a foster family (nearly 20 dogs and counting). Randy has also offered his graphic background doing additional tasks such as event and dog photographer, updating the website and Facebook, T-shirt designer and other graphic needs for the Club.
“Like all non-Profit’s, GRRCC is only able to rescue these Golden Retriever’s using the hard work and dedication of volunteers. We are always looking for dog loving fun and friendly people that can help our Club, even if it’s only for one event a year. Come join us!”
